Boris announces “Year of the Bus” celebrations, including 60th anniversary of the Routemaster:

The Mayor on London, Boris Johnson has decided to mark the 60^th anniversary of the routemaster by celebrating Londons’ bus routes. There are many activities taking places and one of the confirmed ones includes the restoration of a B-Type Bus. Another is a major exhibition at the museum about the contribution on buses and their drivers during the First World War!
